The Government of India has specifically desgined NIELIT 'O' Level computer course under Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology to be pursued alongside graduation degree courses to fullfill the I.T. skills requirement - a prerequisite in all career streams.Thus, 'O' Level enables you to excel in your chosen career.

An additional module "Application of .Net Technology" provides Multilanguage environment to develop Web based Software Applications.This module opens doors to potential job oppertunities and helps to build experties in the software development industry.
This module will focus in understanding .Net Framework, Programming, language C#, Visual Basic & ASP.NET and will be offered as a complimentary module without any additional charges.
All students are required to undertake a project involving requirement analysis and implementation relating either to conversion of an existing manual procedure to computerised work or to extension/modification of an existing computer - based or internet - based application. A properly documented project report will have to be submitted.
These are conducted on a national basis by the NIELIT - the agency designated by Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India - twice in a year, in January and July.
The students must complete the entire course in a maximum period of five years. The final examinations are supported by continuous internal evaluation.
The internal assessment of academic performance is based on the evaluation of the following:-
a) Seminars/Class Participation b) Project work c) Tests/Quizes d) Final examinations.
The results are provided in the form of performance grades accordingly.

To encourage excellence in academic performance, UPTEC offers several rewards in the form of 'Cash Prizes' and 'Certificate of Honour' on the basis of performance in the NIELIT examinations.
All the students attaining the 'Superior' grade or the 'A' grade in any paper of NIELIT's All India Examinations, are honoured with handsome rewards by UPTEC. All 'O'/'A' level students can receive awards upto Rs. 4000/- each. More than 8500 students have already received the above mentioned UPTEC Merit Awards.
Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) for SC/ST/PwD and Female students pursuing NIELIT (Formerly DOEACC Society) O/A/B/C Level Courses w.e.f January, 2019 Examinations.
The Society has introduced a Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) for SC/ST/PwD and Female students pursuing NIELIT (DOEACC) O/A/B/C level Courses w.e.f. January, 2019 Examinations.
i) The Scheme will be applicable to SC/ST/PwD and Female candidates those are pursuing O/A/B/C level Courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) as a full time course through an institute authorised to conduct the DOEACC accredited courses.
ii) Candidates shall have to clear the papers in the first attempt and complete the courses in number of attempts given in subsequent paragraphs.
iii) Income of the parents of the student from all sources shall not be more than Rs.2.50 Lakh per annum.
ALL UPTEC centers are Fully Accredited by NIELIT, Ministry of Electronics & I.T. , Govt. of India for conducting 'O' Level computer course.
UPTEC students are consistently securing merit positions in the NIELIT-All India Examinations. More than 7500 students have secured 'S' grades (85% and more) and 'A' grades (75%-84.9%).
More than 50,000 students have accquired NIELIT qualifications from UPTEC.
The curriculum is updated regularly by the NIELIT and is taught in - depth by UPTEC.
As a part of the program fee, UPTEC provides text books and lab exercises for each module worth more than Rs. 1,500/- to all the students enrolled for the same. The student will be required to bring their own stationery.
UPTEC has received the 'Best Performance Award' for two consective years and the 'Award for Excellence' 3 times from Ministry of Communications & I.T. Govt. of India.
Intensive pre-placement training gives students an edge in the job-market.
Almost all the nationalised banks offer financial assistance for pursuing NIELIT courses at UPTEC. Educational loans can be obtained easily from these banks.
